Professional Remodeling Since 1978!

After 46 years in business, we have decided to close up shop! We will no longer be taking on new projects. Please see a letter from our President and Founder below:

WOW….that was a quick 46 years…
One of the most gratifying things I have experienced in my life is working with homeowners on their homes to repair and improve them. Helping them realize their dreams with their homes is so satisfying!
Bob Caron, who has been my General Manager for over 36 years, has also decided to retire. I can’t say enough good things about Bob. He has worked hard all these years and made every decision as if he owned the business. Bob, the business would not be here today without you!
Wiley Bullock has worked with me for almost 27 years as my Production Manager and has handled thousands of remodeling projects from small bathrooms and decks to extensive whole house renovations. Always caring about the homeowners and making sure the high quality of workmanship that we are known for was part of every project.
Our Office Manager, Kathleen Crenshaw, has done a fantastic job for over 9 years juggling many things behind the scenes to help us be successful. She had some big shoes to fill after our previous Office Manager, Barbara Johnson, retired after working with me for 26 years. As they say, Kathleen is good as gold!
To my unbelievably talented guys that have been with me for years, Mark Bufkin (27 yrs), Mike Kinney (20 yrs), and Andrew Powell (11 ½ yrs), you guys have tackled some of the trickiest remodeling projects out there and delivered 100%…..every time! I am very appreciative that you have stayed with me over the years and will never forget the hard work you put in to every job!
Speaking of Andrew, He was my very first employee that I hired in 1979. He worked with me for several years before stepping out to become one of the most well-known house framers in town. I was glad when he came back 11 ½ years ago. He is an extremely hard worker and can handle just about anything to do with a home.
I also have to say a big thanks to all my long time subcontractors that have been an important part of the team. There are too many to mention but you guys are the best!
To all the great homeowners we have had the privilege to work with–it takes a lot of confidence to allow a company to come into your home, tear it all apart and put it all back together.
I appreciate your confidence in Lipford Construction! And recommending us to your friends and families. Word of mouth is still the best endorsement we could have received!
There has also been many suppliers that we have worked with for decades. Thank you for helping us keep the projects moving!
I have to say one of the smartest business moves I made was to get involved with the Mobile Home Builders Association. The knowledge I obtained, the friends that I made and the opportunities that it provided were invaluable.
Of course, my wonderful wife Sharon has been there through all the ups and downs. She never wavered on her support and her belief that we will come out on top.
That’s what I feel like we are doing….going out on top….which is exactly what my intention was all along!
Lipford Construction was my “launch pad” for my TV/radio career that started locally in 1988 and expanded nationally in 1998. Along the way I started my national radio show, website, and production company. Today’s Homeowner had a very successful run and I have a lot of people, locally and nationally to thank for their support! I retired from the media business last year and am truly enjoying traveling, my grandkids and taking care of all the many home repair lists that are generated by my wife and 3 daughters. 🙂
It has been an amazing journey, a fantastic experience, and a chapter in my life that I will always cherish!
All my best,
Danny Lipford, CGR
